Aiming to holistic health, Yoga Vini is conducting a 7 days ayurvedic detox yoga retreat in Rishikesh. What we are offering to anyone seeking holistic health is complete well-being based on the authentic Yogic & Ayurvedic system of healing.
Apart from providing the best yoga methodologies, Yoga Vini Rishikesh is famous for providing full accommodation facilities for the students. Our ashram is situated in a quiet and peaceful place dotted with the green trees and is well-equipped with all the residential facilities required for a comfortable stay.
The highly ventilated and eco-friendly rooms of the yoga center are fully furnished with all the necessary requirements. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with attached bathrooms. There is no air conditioning however all rooms are equipped with fans.
All rooms are shared between two or three students (larger rooms accommodates three people). However, depending on the number of students registered, single occupancy may be available at an extra cost. Please get in touch with us if you require single occupancy.
When it comes to detoxification, it’s very important to take care of what we take in food, from where its raw ingredients come, and how it’s being cooked. All this is being taken care of by the Yoga Vini team and Ayurvedic dietitians in this 7 days retreat. Serving you 100% organic, fresh food is our utmost priority which is not only good in taste but also healthy for body, mind and soul.
Food we serve in our retreat is pure Saatvic – which means it is vegetarian and easy to digest. Our cuisine is based on low salt, low fat and low spice. Here you will experience a totally new taste of Indian spice, recipes and cooking. There is a fixed menu in our retreat, though those who are staying on a medical programme or according to the individual’s body type, will be prescribed a customized diet along with regular food. Most of the fruit and vegetables served here come from our own gardens and firms.
Our cuisine uses natural foods with an emphasis on whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and dairy products. Ingredients we use in cooking such as Rock sugar/ Jaggery, Rock salt, and Cow’s ghee, are recommended by Ayurveda. We avoid using added or artificial salts, colours, flavours, or preservatives in cooking.
